We had a great time, the weather was good, food and drinks delicious. We always take the Beverage Package. We were sorry to have missed Antigua, but we’ve been there before. Love the whirlpools in the Solarium and all the specialty restaurants. We highly recommend Royal Caribbean, the more you cruise with them, the more perks you get.

We boarded the sip in Bayonne NJ which isn’t far from our home, and they make it very fast and easy. But it’s always best to arrive early!

We eat all of our dinners either at one of the several delicious specialty restaurants or at the Coastal Kitchen which is included if you’re a suite guest. Their food is wonderful and the staff is terrific! Chops Grill is a really nice steakhouse and the service is impeccable. Jamie’s Italian is also wonderful, and the food isn’t your run of the mill Italian food, it’s excellent. Wonderland is a must! The food is interesting and creative and tastes absolutely wonderful! Definitely worth every penny! We ate at our designated dining room a couple of times and it was very good. We always pass on the Windjammer buffet, it’s really not that good.
Onboard Activities

We love the shows, they’re almost always terrific. The live sic in the bars are always top notch, they get great performers. The comedy shows are also very good, especially the late night ones not suitable for kids ;-) I love the whirlpools, very clean and so relaxing. The iFly experience was off the hook and such a blast! The pools are nice and very clean. I always love getting pampered with a massage and facial as well.

We love this ship,it’s our third time on it. Very easy to get around and has a really good layout. Very clean for the most part.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was perfect for us, 2 sinks in the bathroom, a king bed, sitting area. Very nice. Our stateroom attendant was wonderful and our room was always clean.
Ship tip
Be sure to make Restaurant reservations in advance because they can get filled up, especially in the beginning of the cruise.
We got off the ship and had lunch at one of the hotels with the restaurant facing the beach. Very good food & wine. We walked around the port area, but the shops aren’t very nice and they all seem to have the same merchandise. If we ever go there again I’d schedule an excursion to a different part of the island.
They cancelled this port because of high winds and whitecaps. Too dangerous to pull into port as per the ships’ captain. It became a sea day and we made the best of it!!
We had booked a rum tasting excursion through our travel agent, CruisesOnly.com, prior to boarding the ship. It was very informative, fun and also delicious! They allow you to taste as many of their runs as you like, but we tasted about 8. It was called The Rhythm of Rum Distillery Tour. Excellent excursion, we highly recommend.
We did the St Kitts Railway Tour. We don’t recommend this excursion. If you sit inside the train car, it’s cold, and you can’t hear the tour operator discuss the sights and history of the island. But if you sit up top outside, you get a constant dose of diesel coming from the engine car up front. Not ideal. Plus, on the fist part of the trip, the sights aren’t very nice. Lots of abandoned cars, barrels, trash. But it’s beautiful once you get to the uninhabited “countryside” with beautiful ocean views and vegetation. The train is old and it’s not a very comfortable ride. We do not recommend.
