Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The preparation of the food was very, very good. Lots of variety and excellent dishes.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Bumper cars, in the Sea Plex large area. Also, ping pong, roller skating, basket ball and video games. The casino is always fun, especially when you win. Indoor pool and whirlpool was nice and warm. Two 20 is an amazing theater, with top quality presentations. Plenty to do.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
We will Rock You, a Queen musical was excellent. The singers were great. Comedians were funny and we had an impressionist, right from Las Vegas, presented an Outstanding performance.

Service and Staff

Very professional.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Lots of storage in the cabin, very well kept and clean.

Ship tip

The beds need lots of padding. Ask for this right away when you get to your room. The Stateroom room attendant takes care of this.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

5 out of 5
The captain cruised right by the Statue of Liberty. That was a Fantastic beginning to our 9 day cruise. We parked and cruised from the Hampton Inn. The best service ever.

Boston, Massachusetts

1 out of 5
We did the Hop on hop off trolley. That was very good with lots of information. Previously, as this was our 3rd time on the ship, we did the Revolutionary Bus Tour, and the Freedom Trail.

Portland, Maine

5 out of 5
Kennebunkport tour is just great.

Bar Harbor, Maine

5 out of 5
Acadia National Park. Free buses that end on Columbus day. That's the way to go.

Saint John, New Brunswick

4 out of 5
A really nice walking path along the Bay of Fundy.

Halifax, Nova Scotia

5 out of 5
So much to see, the Boardwalk with museums, Titanic cemetary, Peggy's Cove, a port full of interesting history.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
The best ever now that the Passport pictures are downloaded. It's a walk off that's very quick.

Glad you enjoyed. We did the cruise end of September and enjoyed so much. Yes the Anthem is a great ship but we decided one a little smaller is best for us. It’s hard for my husband to walk long distances. We made it work and there are lots of places to sit and rest a few minutes.
