We were happy with our cruise experience on the Anthem of the Seas.

This was very quick. The lines were short and we made it through effortlessly.

Food and Dining

We ate at the main dining room, Chic, every night at 8:00 with the exception of one night. The food was good. What made it even better was our waiter, Elvis. He was very personable and likable. First breakfast, we ate in the Windjammer most mornings. It was always good. We had room service a couple of mornings when we had early excursion. We didn't pay for the upgraded breakfast so had basic danishes, bagels, and English muffins with coffee. It was good and the coffee was hot which was all that mattered to us. The pizza place was a favorite for a quick bite to eat on at sea days.

The i-Fly and the North Star were amazing. Be sure and book them when they become available online.
Entertainment

There were 3 shows we needed to book (no charge). All were good, but We Will Rock You was so amazing! The comedy shows were amazing, as well.

It was perfect for 2 people. I know the couch pulls out for 2 more, but that would be a tight fit.
We went on the St. John's Bucket List excursion. This was a disappointing day but only because of the rain. We saw the reversing Rapids if the Bay of Fundy go both directions. We went to St. Martin, but it was raining and the Village had no power so we only stayed a few minutes. We actually did see more things on the excursion because we had time to spare. It was disappointing but it was no one's fault. It was simply a rainy day.
We did 2 excursions here. The Victorian Walking Tour and An Intimate Look at Acadia National Park. Even with both, we had plenty of time to shop and explore the town on our own. I highly recommend the Intimate Look at Acadia National Park because of the small bus. There were only 14 on our small bus. This allowed us to get on and off at more stops more quickly. It was foggy at the top of Cadillac Mountain but our guide was able to find plenty of places for us to get fabulous views and some gorgeous pictures. Both excursions were informative and very much worth it.
We did the Scenic Boston excursion. The ONLY reason we were disappointed had to do with a delay in arriving at this port because of the weather. The excursion was good. We were just unable to explore on our own afterwards, as originally planned, because there were no drop-offs at Faniuel Hall due to no shuttles being run. There was no helping the weather delay. We hope to do Boston again one day.
We went on the Top Ten of Halifax which included Peggy's Cove, the Fairview Lawn Cemetery (Titanic victims), the public gardens, and the Acadia Maple Factory. It was a long day, but very nice. We saw what we wanted to.
