Overall, this was a very enjoyable cruise. My first cruise on Royal Caribbean and I definitely will cruise with them again. Ship was clean, staff very pleasant and helpful, food in the MDR was delicious, service was excellent.

Leaving from Cape Liberty was the easiest and quickest I've ever experienced.

Food and Dining

The food in the MDR was excellent and the service was exceptional. I didn't eat in the buffet.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
I only did the North Star experience, but it seems likes there's plenty to do for those that are interested. I think my grandkids would have a great time on this ship.

Service and Staff

MDR service was excellent. Servers were attentive, concerned if I left anything on my plate, very friendly. My room steward was also excellent. My cabin was spotless and stayed that way.
Ship Quality

This ship is huge! My main complaint was that there is no aft elevator and it was an extremely long walk to the midship elevator.
Cabin / Stateroom

I booked an inside cabin to save some money. I thought that the virtual balcony feature might be interesting. It was amazing! There is no need for me to book a window cabin or balcony cabin on a future cruise. This was perfect. The size of the cabin was good for me as I was a solo traveler. My only issue was that the mattress was very hard and I would wake up with cramps in my bad back.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Since I'm only an hour away, I left my car in the parking garage and on return, the wait for the elevator to get my car was what took the longest.
Due to an imminent hurricane, we only spent 8 hours at this port instead of the two days originally scheduled. The port itself was nice, the people friendly.
I did the walk-off disembarkation. I had a long wait for an elevator that wasn't packed to get to the gangway. Eventually, I got on an elevator going up, went up and then down. Customs was only facial recognition and was through in about 30 seconds.
If you think that ship was big, wait till Oasis of the Seas comes in May 2020! We went on Anthem as well and already booked Oasis for 2020 after it's refurbishment!
