Review summary

Any vacation is a good time. This ship although not my favorite was ok. I'm used to Oasis class ships and will be going back to them. Food was adequate. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Shows were ok.

I found the food choices on Anthem extremely limited. The morning buffet breakfast consisted of eggs..bacon..sausage..limited baked goods that you stood in line for and were not able to get yourself. I could not find 1 piece of toast anywhere. Dinner in the main dining room was the same every night with 3 changes. Same entrees..same desserts. The food was mediocre nothing like Oasis class ships which was exceptional.

When I opened my stateroom door and found toenail clippings on the rug, a dirty hair elastic on the bed and the bathroom was dirty I called housekeeping. I was told they would "be up later" to clean. This was around 3:00p.m. well after the 1:00p.m. all call that it was ok to enter the rooms.

Very comfortable cabin with more than enough storage for 2 people. View out of balcony was wonderful. Room was not cleaned properly as there were toenail clippings on the rug and a used hair elastic on the bed.

Ship tip

Be prepared for not sitting by the pools unless you are out by 7:00 am. Pool chairs are limited poolside. Upper deck they are plentiful. Decor is elegant. Food in buffet is adequate but not of the Oasis class ships which was exceptional.
