Review summary

In the past I have been on other Royal Carribean cruises and have had all good experiences. Food has always been very good but not on this particular cruise. It was pretty bad. In the main dining on first night it took almost 2.5 hours with the meal and the steak and prime rib was so tough you could hardly them. Flavor bland. Never went back to the Main Dining Room and instead choose to eat at the Windjammer every day after. Again food not very good. Very, very disappointed in the food.

The Allure was the best for me, followed by the Liberty, and the Adventure was so so. And that was just the Windjammer. The main dining room was good on all three(mainly because I requested something that wasn't on the menu and they provided it with no problem), only service was a bit slow on the Adventure. Overall, no complaints.

Curious to know which ships you have enjoyed. On each of our Royal cruises Windjammer has been hit or miss based on what time we got there. Getting there as soon as they open we noticed the variety of hot and cold foods and ethnic choices was great, but hey, it’s a big buffet. I will say that our experience and food for the main dining room was superb in every way when we sailed Transatlantic on Liberty but not as good on Oasis. Could be on the mega ships they streamline the menu choices for MDR and offer so many specialty dining options.
