Review summary

Usual fantastic service. First time on a Quantum class ship and I wouldn't return...Oasis class much better, more open and exciting. Upgraded to a Junior Spa Suite (TWO bathrooms, one with bathtub and shower and sink, one with toilet and sink) and a much larger balcony room. VERY nice, especially for a nine day cruise! Best benefit of Suite class was access to Coastal Kitchen restaurant (only available to Suites and Pinnacle Class). What a place to eat! No crowd, intimate fine dining every night and included in the cruise fare.

Coastal Kitchen

5 out of 5

The highlight of our cruise! Fine dining every night! Intimate and wonderful, got the same table and wonderful waiter each evening, was able to alter our seating time....just a WOW experience every night!

The Grande

3 out of 5

Ate there first evening (before we realized we could go to Coastal Kitchen for dinner).....worst MDR experience ever. Food was slow in coming and cold when it got there.

Windjammer Marketplace

5 out of 5

Best Windjammer I've ever been at (11 RC cruises)....great selection and great service

Wonderland

5 out of 5

This was the BEST MEAL I'VE EVER HAD!!!! Seriously, a VERY special event! Not your typical "Steak House" type specialty restaurant. You want to go here if you're looking for something special in the presentation (even though the food was INCREDIBLE!)

Solarium Bistro

Ate breakfast there one day....limited selection and poor quality

Schooner Bar

3 out of 5

Schooner Bar is one of my FAVE places on RC ships, but this one is in a poor location...felt tight.

Bionic Bar

Really silly.....almost always either not open or very little interest.

North Star

Kind of simple....went up on a sea day, so all we saw was water. A long wait (20 minutes) for a 9 minute ride.

Two70

5 out of 5

VERY cool venue for a show and for game shows and Karaoke final.

The Royal Theater

5 out of 5

Another highlight of any RC Cruise is the entertainment. Every show was a winner, especially "We Will Rock You".....Broadway quality!

Music Hall

5 out of 5

Nice venue for music, Bingo and entertainment.

Library

Only 5 books and a few games....TERRIBLE!!!!

Ship tip

Wonderful cruise, but my first and last time on a Quantum ship....if you want big, go Oasis Class....MUCH more open and exciting!

Easy and beautiful town to visit. GREAT shopping and food. Didn't visit Acadia as we had been there a few years ago, but if you've never been there before, that is a MUST SEE!

Halifax, Nova Scotia

Did the Peggy's Cove/Hop On-Hop Off Bus tour. Kind of a duplication so I prob wouldn't recommend that one, but nice city!

Saint John, New Brunswick

VERY COOL Bay of Fundy...a MUST SEE! Try and get to see Low AND High tides...it is worth the time!
