If you don't care about cleanliness, respect, health or false advertising than Royal Caribbean is for you!
Embarkation
1 out of 5
We were missing sea pass cards and drink package designations and had to stand in the atrocious line at guest services.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Food and drink were mediocre with few selections and only offered at very limited times.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Activities often had lengthy waits, were closed, or in poor condition.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Very few entertainment options, especially at night.
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
The staff would just assume run you over then move two steps to avoid you. Found the staff to be very rude. The room steward rarely folded the couch which left us tripping over it to get to the balcony. The staff felt it was an inconvenience to provide carb counts for juvenile diabetes. Our server and asst server were outstanding! I would give them 6 stars if I could. They were absolutely wonderful with our entire party.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Sooo many things were broken or dirty. Elevator was constantly down. 2 out of the 5 Xboxes were broken in the Seaplex, etc. Ship was in constant motion day and night.
Blue lagoon was wonderful, there transportation however was not safe and left one fellow passenger with a injury that caused her to not be able to go to blue lagoon. The way they load the boats is very unsafe; not everyone can navigate a 4 foot step down on to a moving vessel form the dock.
Rushed out at 8am by housekeeping, breakfast was lack luster and we then had to wait until 9am to even get off the ship because of our assigned number. This caused customs to be very congested.
I’m currently on Anthem and I wholeheartedly AGREE with this reviewer. I would give it a negative 5 stars. Absolutely atrocious. I am currently recovering from Food poisening from this filthy excuse of a cruise ship. Horrible service with very few exceptions and food that tastes like airplane food. Save your money and either go with another cruise line or fly directly to the destination. I am not a fake reviewer for the record. My family and I go on 2 cruises a year on different cruise lines and I worked on cruise lines as an entertainer for about 5 years. I know what I’m talking about!
So what other cruises have you been on, you have no cruise history. The cabins on the Anthem are plenty big enough. Just a hint, if you want the couch folded you see your steward and say please can you fold the couch away when you make up our cabin in the morning. We cruised on the Anthem and got to meet another family who had a son with diabetes, he had no problem with getting info on the food.
