Review summary

Overall the cruise was fantastic. I’m can’t wait to do it again very soon. We are planning on taking another one next year about the same time and it’s even the same ports of call. We don’t mind it at all because everything about our trip was amazing!!!!!

Embarkation

The process of checking in with the cruise line was very fast and smooth. The people are very friendly and willing to help. They started letting us on the ship at 11:30 and we could get into our rooms at 1pm. Our luggage was waiting for us when we got to our rooms along with our room keys.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I loved the main dining rooms. I was able to get into each of the included restaurants and they were all very nicely done. The food was amazing and so was the service. We had an amazing waiter named iggy that just made the cruise so much better. He was full of life and happiness. The buffet was ok. The food was occasionally cold but it still tasted good. They have have made to order stations at the buffet and it was the way to go. I did not go to any of the specialty restaurants on the trip but I heard from many different people that the food was excellent and so was the service. I am not sure what the cost of the specialty restaurants was but it was reasonably priced.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We spent a lot of time in the solarium because it was warmer in there and kids were not allowed in there. The hot tubs were amazing and so were the pools. Everything was very clean and well maintained. All of the staff onboard were very polite and knowledgeable.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We attended as many shows as possible. I did not have a bad experience at ANY of them. The cast of every show was very original and exciting. There was music playing at all times and they had live performances every day! Up on the pool deck and down in the esplanade. It was an expierence that I can’t wait to do again!

Children's Programs

I do not have children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
This was my first cruise in quite awhile. If I didn’t know something I only needed to ask. If the person I asked didn’t know which was only once or twice they did find someone who could answer the question. My room steward was Rica and I didn’t want to leave because of her. Everyone we got to see her she created us with a huge smile and always asked how we were and if we needed anything. She made the whole experience so much more than we could have ever exspected.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The whole ship was very well maintained. If there was a mess to be found the staff took care of it so quick. Everything was so clean and shinny we had to ask ourselves if anyone else had been on the ship before us.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was a great size. We had the virtual balcony and as silly as it may seem it really adds depth and a sense of “realness” to the ship. It is kinda bright to wake up to but you can always turn it off before bed so that doesn’t happen. The room had a lot of storage for everything to have a home. We were able to go the dresser or closet no different than if we were home. I didn’t find any dust, dirt, or stains in anything. Our cabin was really nice for the 2 of us and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Ship tip

Make sure to check your cruise planner EVERY DAY! It has a lot of information on it and all the times for every show and event.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

5 out of 5
This port was a dream come true. Everything is very close so you do not need to walk a mile to the ship and the new port building was very well maintained.

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
Very clean and well maintained. People were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a bit of a maze to get off the ship and to the street but all of the signs were visable. Getting back on the ship was a very small walk and the escalators were a huge help.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
The port was under construction while we were there but we were still able to go over to it. The beach was excellent and you get to see a bunch of wild life. We got to see a stingray, conchs, and even a variety of fish. We planned on doing the jet ski tour but it was canceled due to bad seas. We were issued a refund threw the cruise line the next morning.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
This port is full of culture and fun. You can do just about anything on the island. We took a private tour for about 3 hours and the guid was very knowledgeable. He would drop us off and come back to pick us up exactly when he said he would. This port does a lot for your confidence as well because all of the people and workers tell you how your a pretty girl or handsome man. Which is just the trying to get you to pay for a service or to drawl you into a store.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
When the last morning came we chose to carry our luggage off instead of picking it up on the way. We left our stateroom at 8:30 and we were in our vehicle leaving the port by 9:30. It was very organized and the staff was very helpful.

I didn’t have any downfalls. I would suggest booking every show possible before you get on the ship!
