Overall, plenty of fun! Beautiful and very impressive ship. Staff was hard working and friendly. Ship was clean. Room was well equipt with plenty of lighting and storage. Would consider taking same cruise again. Word of advise- research the ports and activities in advance to find the right fit for you. Happy sailing!
Embarkation

Getting on the ship was fast and easy. Doing forms online made it go incredibly fast. You need to CHECK IN as soon as you book or your arrival scheduled time will be much later. Had a nice view of NYC, and Statue of liberty and even spent some time at the beautiful 9/11 memorial at the port.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The buffet restaurants were definitely not as good as my last RC sailing. But overall, i would give buffets 7/10. The sit down plated dinners were better. Lovely specials on a few nights. Service was friendly and as always, above and beyond.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
If you dont book the reservable activities on the first day (or online before sailing) then you will miss out on the skydiving, northstar, etc. Rescheduling is NOT a possibility. If u plan to participate in bumper cars, lines form early and get long fast. (But they were really fun!)
My 5 and 7 year olds were disappointed that the video game area only had 2 of 5 pods working and it was impossible to get a turn.
The air hockey etc. Is NOT included in activities. .. but for a fee... no thanks
Hot tubs spacious and good views to sit and relax. Pools were wonderful. And kiddie area was just entertaining enough to keep kids busy. The indoor/retractable roof area was fantastic while in cooler regions (we sailed oct-nov)
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Not crazy about show "The Gift" or the other musical show with queen music. But the Cabaret show was very very good. Trapeze stunts/ dancing/ electronic and digital parts. Kids enjoyed that one too. Great theatrical costumes.
On deck, the belly flop and other silly activities were very entertaining and fun.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
Kids had fun. (They just didn't want to leave mom and dad). But once in the kids club, we never got calls for crying kids or complaints about being bored. Staff was very professional and kind towards the children.
Service and Staff

All service was very very good.
Ship Quality

The promenade and shops were fun. But could have used a bit more for families (like snack shop geared towards kids or an ice cream machine would have been nice.) They got bored when we went to the promenade.
Ship is beautiful however. Many areas to explore/enjoy/relax. Plenty of chairs to read in or tables to play cards or scrabble. (Byo games!)
Cabin / Stateroom

A bit tight when couch is made into a bed. Otherwise, adequate enough space. Bathroom was beautiful and good layout. Beds were firm but comfortable.
Ship tip
Plan your days and activities as much as possible. Use the cruise compass newspaper as a guide for activities throughout the day. And be sure to book your cannot miss experiences as soon as you board. It's definitely worth getting in the lines as soon as you board.
Do NOT BOTHER with the Disney excursion. They kept changing the time, then cancelled it, and then re-scheduled. They drop you off a 25 minute walk/monorail ride from magic kingdom. By the time it was all said and done, we literally had 4 hours and 30 minutes inside the park. What a waste.
Pretty. Nice lunch. Plenty of chairs. Watch out for jellyfish. DO NOT WAIT until the day of coco cay to get tender tickets. I missed the info about getting them 2 days before arrival and our beach day had almost 2 hours cut off because we got later tender to the island.
Nassau itself, i cannot rate. But our splurge on Atlantis aquaventure and the dolphin experience was awesome. Not to be missed! Atlantis is breathtaking. The aquariums are unreal. The waterslides are amazing. But our favorite was the rapids. What an amazing experience!
Yes reseach is a must I'm finding out every day. Also just as people are all different so are the people that work on the ship different and just as we all have off days do does the people on the ship. Some times it's out of their control the way things turn out. And that's what reading all the reviews have taught me one day a ship gets bad reviews the next trip great ones. I'm afraid whether we have a great time or not rest with us in how forgiving and flexible we are. Loved looking at the ship through your eyes! Thx
Definitely agree with the research. Another reason why we need reviews like yours. Praise where it is due but with constructive comments. Most of the complaints on this site are from people who have booked the wrong ship for their needs.
You are so right about researching first, sweetadele! I honestly believe that over 50% of the problems people encounter is because people don't do their research before booking. I've seen people complain and score an excursion low because it involved a lot of walking, but when you check into the excursion this fact is clearly written. I also have read complaints about there not being a meal served on an excursion when if the reviewer had done a little research they would know that a meal isn't included. If you do your own research including checking reviews on sites like this one, you stand a higher chance of enjoying your cruise.
