Review summary
The Anthem of the Seas is a beautiful ship. My favorite feature was the Two70. Sunset view was spectacular. Although I never thought I'd say this but I thought the Bionic Bar was really cool. The food was good and the service was OK. The wait staff were professional, friendly and attentive but I think they were stretched too thin. In my opinion the had too many table to take care of. We alway get a balcony room when we cruise. We had a room with a "small" balcony but this was by far the nicest and largest stateroom we ever had. It had more than enough storage. 2 large closets, plenty of shelves an drawers. Very well laid out. Our room attendant was great.
Overall the crew and staff of the Anthem of the Seas were friendly and greeted us with a smile and a hello.
I took the all access ship tour. I highly recommend it. You get a better appreciation for what it takes to keep 4,200 guests happy and comfortable.
Enjoyed all our ports of call. Keep in mind we had great weather. Bermuda is my happy place (been there 6 times). I love San Juan and St. Maarten (went to Maho Beach to watch the plane come and go - bucket list item now checked off. Oh and the beach there is very nice. Was surprised about how nice Labadee was. Nice beach and my only regret was not doing the zip line. Maybe next time.
I was leery about cursing on such a large ship but except for the muster drill it did not feel crowded or uncomfortable.
Over all the Anthem of the Seas is a wonderful ship. So many great features to explore and enjoy. Our only complaint was the that was one elevator was out of service for the entire 9 days. There was some long waits for elevators and this did not help.
