Great Time in a Brand New Ship

Sail Date: November 30, 2015

Reviewed: 11 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Anthem of the Sea is a great ship if you like large ships that have lots of activities and entertainment options. As a brand new ship with a new dining option, there is an issue that restaurants are obligated to folks making reservations even if they dis not show up while others on the new dynamic dining option cannot make a reservation or wait for a table. For a short itinerary, folks could be upset since they would not be able to try out these restaurants. Hopefully, RCI will fix it in the near future. Other than that, we had a great time.

Cabin / Stateroom

Food and Dining
See my above comments.
Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
Falmouth, Jamaica
a lot of local transportation and sightseeing options in addition to those available from the ship
George Town, Grand Cayman
Great place for snorkeling.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
take a shore excursion from the ship. not much around the port.
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
go snorkeling at West Bay and then have an inexpensive message from the locals at the beach.
Cozumel, Mexico
a lot to do. If you want to go far, take the excursion from the ship.

Tip

- need to fix the dining reservation system although the staffs, who do not create the problem, were trying very hard to please the passengers.
- need to prohibit (electronic cigarette) smoking and reinforce the smoking rules in public areas and balcony.
