Review summary

Room service 1-2 hour wait for simple things like wraps and salads.

Not all items from menu are available from the already limited room service menu.

Long wait in main buffet dining hall, to the point where people are told to please give up their seats as soon as they're done eating during breakfast/lunch.

No drink waiters/waitresses walking around offering drinks by any of the pools (3) and if you ask a staff member to send someone over to take a drink order don't expect them to come back.

Excursions are misleading to what is included- extra charges may apply.

very slow dining room service and some waiters will bring you the appetizer and meal at the same time as if they wanted you to hurry up and get out.

if you're expecting a laid back vacation, do not take a cruise on this ship!!!!

This was my 7th cruise, And  this was definitely the worst cruise I have ever taken.

Go with carnival instead!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Buffet was horrible, restaurants had great food but service was terrible

Onboard Activities

Very limited. Many of the activities offered are held in the same arena limiting what is available.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Band members from several diff lounges looked miserable and as if they were there against their will! NO Nightlife- perfect for retirees looking for a quiet ship

Children's Programs

Cabin / Stateroom

Plenty of space for a family of 4. Room housekeeper was great.

Ship tip

If they're trying to work out the kinks wait several years before taking a trip on this ship. They're extremely understaffed and should be embarrassed to run without fully trained personnel. Staff didn't know how to give directions around the ship or anything going on beyond what they were doing

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

Port Canaveral, Florida

We got here early- patient emergency on board.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

We didn't stop here. Weather issues?

Nassau, Bahamas

Beautiful place to visit. Balmoral excursion is a greedy grab at tourists wallets. Be prepared to pay $7 for a coffee or tea, $10 for a hot dog, $15 for a burger, $17 for veggie burger- not worth the $70 you pay to go there.
