A: You would need to have internet access to use Shipmate app onboard. The app was built so that it automatically recognizes when you have network access, and the available features will adjust based on whether or not you’re online. Interactive featur... es, such as the newsfeed, photos, chat, and direct messaging will not work without WiFi and an internet plan on a cruise ship.See More

A: if you mean console i don’t think you can plug it in to the tv’s. also i doubt there will be a good connection for him to play so if it would take up a lot of space then i wouldn’t risk it but if you have enough space to bring it then why not try it... 🤷🏽♂️See More

A: Not all cabin have the in/output connections enabled on the TVs, so it may not. If a game needs the web to play the ship's Surf-n-Stream package, which though getting better still = a 3g experience for up/downloads, so there's lots of lag on game pla... y data. Self contained hand held systems w/ games with a low data load like the app 1 for phones should be OK .See More

A: they do test at the port in the uk ,but the option to test yourself is much better. In my case it would save me 2 x 4hr drives to and from the port for nothing.

Q: It states i can bring 12 cans of soft dring on board. Could i just bring 1 2L bottled one?

A: Ignore 1mytrip. that info is incorrect and will have port security confiscate the bottle. Royal allows only containers that do not exceed 17oz a piece witha max of 12 per cabin. Mix and match is allowed and security tends to open any cardboard of pla... stic "master" packaging so be prepared with a backup bag if not already in you carry-on luggage.See More
