We are not usually fans of cruises, but we did enjoy the Alaskan cruise. Recommend getting a balcony as the views are worth the money!

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

We went hiking at Snow Lake prior to embarkation and loved it. The homeless population was tough to see in the city.

Juneau, Alaska

Juneau was more commercialized than I expected. We did Mendenhall Glacier, whale watching, and Tracy's Crab Shack tour. Fun day and very glad we did a tour rather than our own transportation.

Sitka, Alaska

5 out of 5
This was our favorite port. Sitka is gorgeous! We spent 5 1/2 hours on the water looking at whales, sea otters, sea lions, puffins, eagles, and more. We plan to return to Sitka! Don't miss Sitka National Park.

Ketchikan, Alaska

It was raining when we arrived and we headed to Creek Street and then walked to Totem Heritage Center. We caught the free shuttle back to the pier where we met our guide for our float plane tour of Misty Fjords. Highly recommend the float plane tour as Misty Fjords is unbelievably beautiful!

Victoria, British Columbia

4 out of 5
Our ship arrived late in to port. We opted to do Victoria on our own. We ate at Fisherman's Wharf, shopped around downtown and then visited the Royal British Columbia Museum. The museum is wonderful. We also enjoyed seeing the lights at Inner Harbour.
