I live in Florida so cool weather options are always great in summer. I had been to the area before and loved it, so this cruise was a great way to see the San Juan Islands. I have cruised on American CruiseLine several times before and love the intimacy of a small ship. There were less than 100 passengers. Every one of the stops were fabulous. Friday Harbor, Paulsbo and Port Angeles were my personal favorites. The flowers were so abundant. We also went to Victoria, Canada by ferry on an excursion. I loved it. Such a beautiful city. I am pretty fit for 72 but I was totally impressed with the care that the entire staff took to help those who needed it. The entire ship is American made and staffed. The entertainment was also great. Such variety. Hard to say who was my favorite. Often, we were all singing along. I highly recommend this cruise. I hope you get an opportunity to go on it. You won't be disappointed.

Service and Staff

Fell in love with our servers. Jersey and Angela were our favorites. Conor the cruise director was funny and extremely well organized.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
It is a small ship. I believe with the space available it was very efficiently laid out.
Cabin / Stateroom

More spacious than I expected and even the beds were pretty comfortable. I wish I had gotten a balcony. The scenery was wonderful, but I honestly don't spend that much time in my room.
Ship tip
Pack less...The ship is very casual. No one gets dressed up. It is a very relaxing atmosphere.
We did the precruise package and that included breakfast at our hotel and a bus trip through town with a really funny guide. On Friday were returned and went to Stanly Market and the Space needle on an included tour.
We did not take the city tour so maybe we missed some stuff but it was not my favorite. Unfortunately two of the museums in town were closed the days we were there.
