Relaxing Family Vacation by Rxmom98

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We went to celebrate our youngest son's high school graduation and he turned 18 a few day before the cruise. We had a wonderful, relaxing time on the cruise. Loved the ports. Second time we've done this cruise. Our 76 year old mother was on her 1st cruise and she had a blast. The food was amazing. The shows were very good. We did things at our leisure and didn't feel rushed around. We definitely would do this cruise again. Really enjoyed Royal Carribean. Don't miss our on the Aquatheater show and the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream. The girl that works there is a sweet heart. Don't forget to washie washie.

We definitely want to sail on the Allure of the seas again! The days at sea were well balanced with the days in port. The ship is fun and beautiful. The staff is friendly and professional specially the waiter Joy and his assistant Dubey. These guys are excellent. Most of the time they help me to choose my food because I am very picky, also my wife was happy too to the service that they give her and the treatment that she received from them. The food was much better than we've had on other cruise lines and there is a happy party feel to the ship. I have no complaints about any of the cruise from the wonderful ship to the fun shore excursions. It was all perfect and a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Also the housekeeper Roberto is a great guy, and willing to work and serve better than I expected. Andre Casseus is a great guy also at the customer service , and I met him on Oasis of the seas on 2014, and I was surprised to meet him again this year. This is my seven times cruise, 2 times with Carnival, I time with Norwegian, and 4 times with Royal Caribbean, I can describe that Royal Caribbean is the best.

The Pros and Cons on the Allure! by rgreen1974801

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

I was so excited for this ship. The food on this ship was very average. The buffet was not open late to just sit and play cards with family members. We had a large group and on other ships we have sat in the buffet area late in the evening playing cards. They close this area early so we had to find other places. Many of the other areas are lounges and/or bars (not suitable for young children). I think our group would prefer ships that are mid sized and have more areas to just sit and relax.

Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I have been on the Oasis the Harmony and the Allure all in the last four months Harmony is the newest and was definitely the best Oasis was next, the Allure could use some spiffing up although it is still a nice ship. This was my 34th cruise

It was a great trip by shepwoda

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was a new experience for us. We never were on a Big Super Ship. You do not know there are 6000 people on the ship. It was a great trip and we would do this ship again. the on board shopping needs some help. The store selection needs improvement.

Great time on a great ship! by cadeoneill

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This cruise overall was wonderful. As I mentioned, getting on sucked. However, the bad stopped there and did not show itself for the rest of the vacation. There is so much to do and so many cool things and places to see on these cruises that it is hard to have a bad time. The best part about this cruise is the lack of worrying about anything. Everything is taken care of, so all you have to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy your week away from the struggles and worries of life! Would recommend NOT buying a wifi package. One of the best parts about a cruise is turning off and disconnecting from the world, even if just for a minute.

Oasis Class may be too big for it's britches. by mrxaviar

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Great ports, Interesting Ship, not the best service. I think they may have outdone themselves on the size and being able to hold up the typical RCCL service on this one.

Allure of the Seas Cruise has wonderful shows, good sport facility and very nice treatment from all staffs. by atdieu

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I love to have a cruise with Allure of the sea. A good big ship. My husband likes the fitness center and the shows. we had pleasure time and enjoy the good service from the food to the room comfort. But we would like to see folding animal classes for adult like on Disney cruise when we cannot do some sport activities because of crowded. Thank you for your very good service. Thanks the Captain for safe driving.

My daughter & SIL got the drink package. They LOVED trying the different cocktails. We thought the entertainment and food was superb. This was the second time in a row we booked on Allure. Great ship and staff seems to genuinely enjoy their job.

Overall we had a great cruise. I’m not sure we can ever go on one without being in a suite though. That was worth every penny.

We were 4 couples and had a great time. We are Diamond and really appreciated the benefits we had. Loved Labadie and San Juan, St Martin unfortunately is still reeling from the previous hurricanes. Dinig service and cabin stewart excellent.
