Best cruise ever by jordananita5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This was by far the best cruise I've ever had. The staff went above and beyond and were so excited to have us on board. Embarking and debarkation were smooth and easy, and the health protocols on board made me feel completely safe. Entertainment was fantastic and the reduced capacity was great. Allure has now become my favorite ship.

Great relaxing transatlantic cruise by EbonyCruiser

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Transatlantic

The Allure was scheduled to go into dry dock in Cadiz for a major makeover. Once returned to fleet, new and improved public areas. I enjoyed this 12-night TA cruise that had only one port of call—Malaga. What I did not like was moving clocks up 1-hour at noon on day 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 10. No need for breakfast...went straight for lunch. Go to the 15-minute fountain show and Johnny Rockets for breakfast at least once if you do this cruise. Blue Planet was excellent! You gotta see the tree!!! Suggest seeing Mama Mia during early evening because of its runtime (147 mins.) excluding the time to get to the theater and obtain a seat. Leaves the rest of the evening for dinner and/or other evening events.

Great Transatlantic by dhamel

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Transatlantic

This was a great transatlantic cruise. Fortunately, this mega ship was 50% occupancy giving us the opportunity to have deck chairs at will and extra space everywhere on the ship.

Wonderful Week at Sea by tom83036152

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Initially intimidated by the size of the ship. Took a few days to get a general feel of where things were. Always something to do (if you want) or read books on balcony if you don't. Best entertainment ever on a ship. Friendly staff. Food was just OK and no midnight buffet. We will definitely cruise both this line and ship again.

Charted by kosher jews and wasnt informed. by Patrick12345678

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Should have been told of any special groups. Dining was a madhouse because of some kitchens being used to prepare kosher meals. Have been on twelve cruises and this is the only one where I have been concerned for my daughters safety. The groups behavior on this ship was awful. Loud, rude, obnoxious, kids running amok. After two days my kid was afraid of the pools. Security was called to maintain order at pool. My wife got cannon balled in a hot tub by a ten year old. Could not wait to disembark. Our waitstaff in main dining room and the ports of call saved our cruise. Still very upset at cruise line. I would like to know about any groups or charters beforehand. I didnt pay for the use of half a cruise ship.

Wonderful getaway!! by dcampbell524

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

This was an excellent cruise in a beautiful ship. Because of the large number of passengers, some of the shows and entertainment were hard to get in to.

Disappointed by ddigeon

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

There was a very large group on this sailing. They took over the entire ship. My vacation was overshadowed by this very large group. Public areas were overtaken, service suffered, unable to participate in certain activities because of this.

Third time sailing with Royal Caribbean by c4stewsar

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

99% fantastic. Only disappointments were nightly shows weren't regular and ordered champagne and strawberries to be delivered first night and they weren't. Had to contact service desk and then they delivered but with only one glass.

great boat. too old. a few months before cancelling Roatan, the best port and on the day of the last stop at Costa Maya, the supposed 3rd largest boat in the world, couldnt dock because it needs an overhaul and one or two motors were not working! by pjrecio2020

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Allure of the Seas / Destination: Caribbean - Western

great boat. too old. should compensate for cancelling Roatan, the best port . and on the day of the last stop at Costa Maya, the supposed 3rd largest boat in the world, couldnt dock because it needs an overhaul and one or two motors were not working! Best lobster night. Great idea with central park but not good in night area for people to do stuff. too early closing. Best Pizza *highlight of the cruise. Great surfing. Best cleaning cabin person ever.
