Review summary

This was by far the best cruise I've ever had. The staff went above and beyond and were so excited to have us on board. Embarking and debarkation were smooth and easy, and the health protocols on board made me feel completely safe. Entertainment was fantastic and the reduced capacity was great. Allure has now become my favorite ship.

Enjoyed pools, spa, whirlpools, solarium, trivia, name that tune and other games. Too much to list. It was all great.

Entertainment

The Temperature band is the best band on any cruise ship. I saw them on Oasis of the seas and was so excited when I heard they were on Allure, and I made sure to catch every performance. Mama Mia was great as well as the other live music. I wasn't as happy with the DJ because he only played top 40 type music and I like to hear more variety, especially more reggae and Caribbean type music.

Diaz and Ronnele in the main dining room were the absolute best I've ever had. All of the staff were so welcoming and happy to see us. I can't give enough stars for service, it was phenomenal.

Ship Quality

Cleanliness and hand washing was better than anywhere on land.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was good size and kept very clean. Only complaint is that at night the ac seemed to not work as well and it got slightly warm. I like a really cool room for sleeping so this was a little annoying but not too bad.

Ship tip

Take the time on your first day to find out all of the deals and options. I found out on the next to last day that breakfast is free at Johnny Rockets. I also missed a great sale at Michael Kors because I didn't find out about the sale until it was almost over.

@jordananita5.....glad you had a great cruise. got a question regarding the Covid test — are rapid tests done at your primary care doctor acceptable or must they be done at a Walgreens or CVS? we are cruising on the Allure on 9/19/2021. thanks!
