Review summary

This was our 13th cruise and Allure of the Seas is the only ship I would love to go on again. It's that nice!

Embarkation

My husband was in a mobility scooter and terminal and ship personnel were very accommodating. Whole process took only 15 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

MDR food and service were outstanding! Windjammer variety and quality was great, but the desserts were tiny. Solarium food was good. We went to Samba grill. Again, the food and service were outstanding.

Onboard Activities

There were plenty of fun activities all over the ship. The poolside band was a lot of fun.

Entertainment

We were blown away by the Mamma Mia and Blue Planet Home productions, as well as the Ocean Aria aqua show. The singers and musicians who performed in the Boardwalk were great, a nice touch in the garden setting.

Service and Staff

Even though we knew waiters and room staff were stretched thin and very busy, they always stopped what they were doing to ask how we were and could they do anything to make our day better. Our MDR waiter and assistant waiter made us feel like we were the only ones in the room. Whoever trained them did a fantastic job!

Ship Quality

I was able to acclimate to the layout and where everything was very quickly. It usually takes me several days. I always saw staff cleaning.

Cabin / Stateroom

Our Stateroom and balcony were neat and clean. Bathroom layout was good, especially enjoyed the larger shower (larger than previous cruises).

Ship tip

Take the time to enjoy Central Park. There are bird chirping sounds during the day and cricket sounds, as well as beautiful lighting during the night.
