Review summary

Overall the time on the ship was good. We wish we had some notice on the splashpad closure so we could prepare other activities ahead of time. We were also upset that our room was twice as expensive as others in our party who booked at the exact same time as us. Our kids were supposed to sail free but we don't think that actually happened as we were under the impression we were getting a much larger room than the others in our party. There was also a mishap with our room assignments from the very beginning. was not interested in correcting their mistake which was very disappointing. We will not be booking through again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was very easy. Lines were a bit long but they opened up more access and getting on the boat was a breeze. More signs would have helped some confusing moments with bag dropoff.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining and specialty dining were excellent. The buffet was always well stocked and full of variety.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Pools were decent but seating was difficult to find. The child's splashpad closed halfway through our trip without advance notice. That was a big issue with having kids.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All performers and shows were great.

Children's Programs

We did not participate in the children's programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Waiters, room stewards, and all ship personnel were helpful the whole trip.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship design was great. It looked like some maintenance was needed and was apparent that maintenance was happening on the fly with the splashpad shut down.

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
The room was very cramped. We also paid twice the price for our room as other people in our party did for the exact same room. When we booked, kids were supposed to sail free, so the same room should have been the same price no matter the quantity of people but we found out after the fact that we had the same room and paid double. This was a huge letdown.

Very expensive and difficult to get out of the port. Would not go back again.

I didn't like that you couldn't go to the Carnival port from the RC port.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was fast and east.
