Review summary

Be kind, learn new foods, try things you normally wouldn’t! While the ship is large, there is no problem finding a quiet spot to read or people watch. Just one reason I’ll always have a ocean view balcony~it’s our happy place!

Embarkation

Only because a jumper from previous cruise delayed all of us! Police still got ‘em though.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We found the food pleasing for the most part. We are not food critics that have our nose in the air. Something good was always available to eat.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My 50 year old husband Rock climbed twice, each a harder course and made it to the top-we are both just now starting to get much more active. So that was a celebration 🎊

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Really really good! Mama Mia and the Ocean Aria blew us away! Don’t miss it’

Children's Programs

Traveled with no kids

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
For the most part everyone was great. Do seem to see a slight decline in general friendliness and not as upbeat. This is all post covid but I’d sail again tomorrow. These folks spend long periods away from their families and country to entertain and cleanup after us.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Central Park is stunning and almost more so at dusk or night. Between that and the boardwalk area it makes for a unique layout. I do dread the slides if they add them next year.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Everything was definitely to our liking and our steward (Iputo) made sure I had my ice twice a day.

Ship tip

It is very big if you’ve haven’t sailed an oasis class ship. Tons of walking that seems to never end but we researched and understood. Coming from only Liberty of the seas, Allure is massive! Just relax and have a great vacation!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth and parking in north lot was so convenient

Mind should say we cruised November 2019

We cruised on the Allure in November 2029. Our last cruise before COVID. The ship is huge. Beautiful. Delicious food. Fantastic shows. Great ports, wonderful staff. Loved everything. I have mobility issues so we took a different deck every night to explore and I had my lightweight wheel chair if needed. It was great. Our cabin steward had not seen me in a wheelchair and one night he did and was so upset. He thought I got hurt. We assured him I only needed it for if we were going to be walking a lot. The Allure was one of our favorite ships and would love to go again.

Thanks for the review. We sail on Allure in August and again in October. Really, looking forward to it. We are deciding on exursions now.

You enjoyed the cruises..that is good. I have been on the Grandeur, Navigator and Serenade. My next cruise is on the Liberty of the Seas. We saw her in Nassau on our Norwegian Getaway cruise in March along with Freedom of the Seas.
