Allure of the Seas is a huge ship - not really our preference. If you want an all inclusive vacation to relax and party, this is a good ship. Not really for people who want to experience cultural sites and get an educational experience. Great for a family vacation with kids.

We had an ocean view stateroom - I would not have wanted a stateroom overlooking one of the communities as it would have been loud and would lose a lot of privacy.

Very nice cabin, only complaint was the night stands had no drawers.
Booked an excursion on our own - car and driver to do whatever we wanted to do and was only $90. Highly recommend one of the wild animal parks (sloths and monkeys) and the Iguana park.
