After sailing with Carnival for 9 trips, we decided to give Royal Caribbean a try. Needless to say, it did not disappoint. We had a very good time on the Allure. The entertainment was the highlight of the trip. Entertainment was awesome. This ship is large and beautiful, with lots of amenities to enjoy. We will sail Carnival again, but will definitely sail Royal as well. Each line has its own pros and cons. It's up to the individual to decide. I choose both. LOL

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The food was excellent in the main dining room and buffets. Only did the hibachi for specialty dining and it was excellent and entertaining as well.
Onboard Activities

Enjoyed the fitness center 2 days of the cruise. It is very nice, with lots of options. Zip line was fun. Only got in the pool once, late in the evening, when the crowds died down.
Entertainment

The entertainment on this boat was phenomenal. Aqua show was awesome. Comedy was great. The ice skating show was great. Mama Mia show was very good as well. Blue planet is great also.

Very neat and clean at all times. As always, workers were constantly cleaning.
Cabin / Stateroom

Everything was perfect. Room seemed just a little smaller than the balcony cabins on our previous Carnival cruises, but it was still fine.
Ship tip
Pace yourself. Its is a large ship with lots to do. Most of all, ENJOY!!
Went to Nachi Cocom Beach Club for the 6th time. It is our favorite place in Cozumel. Beautiful beach, great pool, great food, and good cold drinks!! Excellent service as well.
We also sail on both cruise lines and enjoy both of them. We have an upcoming cruise in 2 weeks on Allure which will be our first on this class of a ship. Glad you enjoyed your cruise and hope ours will just as good.
Glad you enjoyed the Allure. It's an amazing ship. We like both lines too but probably sticking with RC from now on. The entertainment is a major factor for us and Carnival just can't compete with RC when it comes to the big shows.
