Embarkation

Got a little backed up due to a malfunction with the Ipads. Once things were moving we got through really quickly and onto the boat!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Specialty Restaurants are all we did. It was awesome. They all have great service (Johnny Rockets could use some improvement) Food was great. Staff was fantastic throughout our dining experiences

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Plently of room for everyone. Gym needs to be a little bit bigger. LOTS of people at the gym every day

Service and Staff

We had a great time with all the staff. A few Casino Dealers had poor attitudes along with one Guest servcies gal, Everyone else was more than nice enough to make up for it!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Allure is getting a little old. It needs to be refreshed but they kept things very clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was clean, Bed was very comfy. plenty of room for the two of us. Its towards the back of the ship but we didnt really feel any movement. Loved it!

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

Don't love getting to the port from the airport. It was a long ways. Galveston was not the cleanest. Not a pretty port but what Major US port is.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Loved our time here. Great experience. We went ziplining and had a fantastic time.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
Went and explored on our own. Taxi is 4$ per person each way to downtown Costa Maya. They dropped us off at the crazy lobster then you just walk over to the beach and you can stop where ever you want. Everyone wants to sell you a beach chair for the day. 40 Canones is really nice but expensive. We ended up at a small place just past that with a nice little section of beach. Lots of nice people. Getting a taxi back is easy. Just walk along the beach and the Taxi drivers are waiting to take you back. same 4$ a person. (Make sure you check before getting in) Love Costa Maya

Cozumel, Mexico

Disembarkation

Someone jumped off the ship to avoid the police in the morning so that delayed getting off the ship. Nothing Royal could have done but it made catching our flight home a little more tense.

@greenbay2018 The nearest airport is Hobby, which is still about an hour away from the port.

When you say the airport is a long way to the port, how long?
