Review summary

We have decided the smaller ships are better for us. Would definitely recommend the Allure of the Seas to anyone that has the energy to do lots of activities and go on excursions. That time has passed for us, but we still enjoy cruising.

Main dining room and buffet were fine, food okay. Didn’t pay extra for any specialty restaurants. Dog House hot dogs, GREAT! Enjoyed the complimentary lemonade in the free eating places, very refreshing. Really enjoyed the Mexican food in the Wipeout Cafe.

Onboard Activities

Since we are seniors, we only enjoyed walking around. The Central Park was very nice and a good place for fresh air and sunshine. The no smoking area in the casino was a good place for spending time and money.

Entertainment

Really enjoyed Mama Mia, the magician, the impersonator, the aquatic show and the ice skating show.

Our room steward was very nice, helpful and efficient. Our waiter and assistant waiter were very good.

This was our first time on a large ship. Very impressed with the Promenade area. Restrooms were very clean in all areas.
