The new terminal was awesome! Took only about 20 minutes to go through and then on board the ship.

The food in the windjammer was good most days but some days just okay. The main dining room was great!! Food and service on point!

The pools closed to early in evening. Hot tubs that were open were being over runned by child with parental supervision and that is not ok.

Our service overall was great!! Room steward did a great job!! Servers at mdr did great!! All other crew were always kind and had a smile on their face and willing to help.

I know Allure is due for an up grade but for my first experience on an Oasis class ship I really enjoyed the ship!!!

Cabin / Stateroom

Did not have a suite...cabin was an interior...12543. Cabin was clean and a good size....the bed is another story. RCCL needs too do a better job with beds...it was not comfortable at all. We has guests do spend some great money to cruise and want to be comfortable and the bed is a must when being comfortable.

Agreed that the beds on Royal are hard and uncomfortable, also that the buffets aren't bad but just don't typically have anything good. But as long as people are "Loyal" and won't try other lines that don't have those issues, why should Royal spend money to improve in those areas?

Some folks complain beds are hard, some soft. Some have back problems, others have backs of mahogany. Unfortunately, about the best one can do is to try a topper, or if the mattress is wore out, ask for a new mattress (have done that).

Glad you enjoyed most of it. You can usually ask for a foam topper for the mattress, if it it is harder than what you are used to.
