Our first Royal cruise was great! We will definitely cruise with them again.
Embarkation

Embarkation was a breeze. Arrived at the port and there was no line. The app made everything so easy. We were onboard in no time at all.

Food and Dining

We did the three night specialty dining package. We chose Giovanni’s, 150 Central Park and Chops Grille. Each restaurant was absolutely amazing. Food was delicious! My favorite was Giovanni’s and my Husband loved Chops. We had booked Sabor instead of Chops but the morning of, my gut said to cancel and I’m so glad I did and made the switch to Chops. We went to Sabor for a late dinner one night and I just don’t think it’s worth using a specialty dining option on.
Giovanni's Table

This was our first nights dinner and we loved it. The spaghetti bolognese is delicious. I ordered the tiramisu for dessert. The best I’ve had, by far. My Husbands only complaint, “small portions”
Dog House

I had to have one every afternoon while I watched the rock climbers. They close at 6pm every day.
150 Central Park

Amazing gourmet food. It was my birthday and they surprised me with chocolate cake. It was delicious. The bread that they serve is out of this world!! We had three of them and we aren’t big bread eaters.

Food was good.
Sabor

A nice little place for a late dinner. I wouldn’t waste a specialty dining option here though.
Chop's Grille

Amazing! I ordered the ribeye and my husband ordered the filet. Way too much food for us to eat. Perfectly seasoned. The apple pie for dessert is so good.
Cafe Promenade

I popped in every morning for my latte and every afternoon for a Frappuccino. The sandwiches were dry so I only got that once.

Cabin / Stateroom

We won our “Royal Up” bid so we had a Central Park view cabin. It was spacious with plenty of storage. The window seat was where I got my reading time in and my husband liked to people watch and nap there.
We usually go to Mr. Sanchos but this time we went to Nochi Cocum. Best decision ever!!! They have a 150 capacity limit, every day. Private beach with security at the gate. There were no locals trying to sell you stuff. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We got a 60 minute massage, unlimited drinks and a 4-course lunch. Just a awesome day. I think Nochi has taken Mr. Sanchos place for us. Can’t wait to go back.
We went to YaYa Beach. Nice place but the locals hound you the whole time trying to get you to buy what they are selling. We paid for the unlimited drinks and lunch. First drink was nice. After that, they were all watered down.
