Review summary

First week we had 3200 guest for the six day. The second week of the back to back added another 1200 passengers. We could definitely see and feel the difference of the crowds on board. The Allure is a wonderful ship but just a little to big passenger wise. May be our last experience on an Oasis Class. This is just personal preference of course.

We felt the same way about the number of passengers. We sailed on Allure on her first sailing back in August. There were 1500-1800 passengers depending on who you talked to. We loved the ship and the very low amount of passengers. We are on the fence on whether we would sail on an Oasis class ship at full capacity. Just our preference as well.

Yea, once you experience an Oasis class at reduced capacity, you can see a big difference once its getting filled up. We have sailed on Oasis class from 1,100 passengers all the way to maxed out at 6,500 passengers.... But I never felt like the ship was "crowded"... Ive always been able to find plenty of places where there is almost no people, and enjoy the ship. Boarding and ports have never been a problem even with max capacity. Where I see the crowds the most is after shows, or on the promenade during events. But we tend to not get tangled in the middle of the crowds and stay on the fringes. Ive found the Oasis class the easiest to be able to bypass the crowds as I transit the ship.... Ive done 7x cruises on the Oasis class, 3x were 13 day transatlantic cruises... They are still by far my favorite ship class! 😃

Appreciate your review. Glad you enjoyed it despite the ship not being your preferred size. At least you gave the Oasis class a try.
