We had a very relaxing time and met some great people. All crew members we encountered were AMAZING!
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived at 11:30 for our 12:00 embarkation and we were on the ship by 12:15. Based on the experiences of others, I had printed everything off (including set sail pass) to speed things along. It definitely helped!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining room was good but are getting a little tired of the same menu so we at at some specialty restaurants. The specialty restaurants were great. The Windjammer was good but it was hard to find tables due to social distancing.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The beach pool was our favorite pool. The water temperature was perfect! The Solarium pool was very chilly and hard to get adjusted to. The hot top in the Solarium was amazing! The cantilevered hot tub was lukewarm and it was hard to figure out the controls.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Mama Mia, Ocean Aria, and the ice show were all outstanding!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our room steward was fabulous! The bartenders and wait staff were all great as well! We didn’t encounter any staff that would deserve less than a 10+ rating!
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was always clean. The neighborhoods make it easy to find your way around the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We moved the coffee table out of the way since it took up so much room in the cabin. The balcony was very spacious but we actually spent less time there than normal on this cruise. The bed was a little uncomfortable so I asked the room steward for a mattress topper. That did the trick for me. He said that it it didn’t help he would be able to get something else, though.
Ship tip
If you have sailed with Royal Caribbean before, get the 3-night or unlimited dining package.
We only did the free activities. We got chairs by Oasis Lagoon and spent most of the day in the pool or in the ocean by Chill Island. We had lunch from the snack shack. The chicken sandwich was good but would have been even better if it had tomato and lettuce.
We stayed in our room and watched on TV for our number to be called. It was very comfortable to be able to wait in our cabin! It took us less than 15 minutes to get off the ship once our number was called! So easy!!!!!
