Review summary
I sailed Royal Caribbean “Allure of the Seas” 10/24-10/31, 2,100 passengers ( ship has capacity of 5400). Cozumel, Costa Maya, Nassau and Coco Cay. We had a Rapid Test on Friday before sailing. We got to the post about 1/2 hour before our appointed time. Once in line we were asked to show our documents (test results, &vaccine card) we were asked to show them once in the building, as well as our passports. Documents were checked one more time @ the check in desk. Masks were required the entire time, once on the ship we stopped for a bite to eat and masks were off. Elevators were marked limit of 6 or your group. Cabins were ready at 2:00, when we arrived at the door, there was a magnet stating it had been sanitized. Water we pre-purchased was in the cabin in the original carton. All staff was masked 24/7, everywhere around the ship. All food was plated for you, in every dining venue. (I did not venture in the Windjammer buffet, my friends did) they scanned your card going in and out) . Entertainment shows were marked as ”E” everyone (there were unvaxed kids aboard and “V” for vaccinated guests only. If you were in a “V” venue, you could remove your mask once inside. Pool loungers were grouped by 2’s, except in the solarium, which was adults only. I never felt uncomfortable or put out because I had to wear a mask. Because of the large open air areas (Central Park & Boardwalk), and the pool, plenary of opportunities not to have to wear your mask.Ship experiences
