Mostly a great ship...with a few exceptions. Definitely need some better singers in the bars, and a better system in the buffet to help with crowds.

Most of the staff was helpful and friendly. Although in the jewelry store they had a bit of an attitude, and I actually purchased something.

We had a balcony overlooking Central Park which I highly recommend. The cabins could be updated, and storage was limited.

Ship tip

Do not bring a clothing steamer, as mine and many other peoples were confiscated. Also the ship is pretty crowded. If you plan to eat in the buffet for breakfast, get there early, as tables fill up,quickly.

It was a waste of time. We arrived at 7am and had to be back on the ship at 12:30....nothing was open....couldn’t even have lunch!

We sailed allure last year and never once did we feel crowded or rushed We only ate buffet one time when we got on the ship the rest of the time we went to other venues around the ship Heck they even have a wall Of donuts!! We loved this ship and are going on sister ship harmony May 2020

I'm interested in your comment about the singers in the bars. Did you go into Dazzels? The Great Ideas Showband is the premier band for Royal Caribbean. We have cruised 3 times, with this band and our shortened cruise, starting this Wednesday was booked specifically for the Great Ideas Showband.

You should know by now not to bring a clothes iron or steamer. I did a few years ago and it was also confiscated. What a mess that was, especially trying to find it after the cruise. You should have done better research on the Allure. We don’t even plan to use the buffet, maybe only on the first day when it won’t be as crowded. There are so many other free venues for breakfast and lunch. Dinner always in the MDR .We go in November.Cant wait
