The Allure of the sea is a great ship for 4000 passengers. Unfortunately, Royal Caribbean claims they can accommodate 6500. They can't!
Embarkation

Could not have been better.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Food at the main dinning and buffet were very good to excellent but there were long lines unless you got there early. In the buffet they may announcements. “If you are done eating please leave so others can sit down”. Accommodations! The side cafés and food places were not very good to awful. The pizza at Sorrento’s was good but I had some breaded mushrooms there and they were still partially frozen. We had a sub-par hamburger at the Wipe out café and there was not even enough chairs to sit down.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pool/ Spa and fitness- The pools were nice but not big enough and very over crowded. The spa and fitness area were about the same size as smaller ships 1/3 the capacity of the Allure.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
I booked the main shows early and they were good. The other entertainment might have been good too, but the other venues are so small you could not get reservation. The comedy club only held 90 people, unbelievable for 6500 pass
Children's Programs
No small children but look like they nice accommodate for them.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
The hard-working crew were over worked and it showed.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship is beautiful and well-maintained, but all they did with the bigger ships is made room for head count, not accommodations.
Cabin / Stateroom

Central Park balcony was unique, clean, nice size, loved it.
I agree with review. Been on all different size cruises and this one definitely felt crowded. Always in lines, being bumped into and pushed. Way too many people. And hated that you had to reserve shows before the cruise. Everything had to be preplanned. Do want to try a smaller royal Caribbean ship cause this one left a bad taste in my mouth.
They probably cut the time at Nassau and San Juan because of propulsion issue. I'm surprised about the ship being overcrowded. Most of the reviews say it doesn't seem crowded considering how many passengers. We go in November. Can't wait.
