Review summary

Sorry for the delay of my review everyone. It’s been a busy summer so far. But here is my take on the Allure. You would think with 6000 plus people onboard everyone would be bumping into one another. This was not the case at all. Never had a major problem finding a seat in the windjammer. I had a window view room directly across from Jonny Rockets. The problem being on that level was the noise from the outdoor water shows at times. If I sail this ship again I think I would prefer to have a balcony facing Central Park. I loved that area and how peaceful and romantic it was. Once again the food was amazing! I couldn’t believe they had crawfish in the windjammer. After enjoying Izumi on my last cruise I decided to eat there again. We were scheduled to go there on the third night of the cruise, but for some reason guest services overbooked on our night. So the dining manager ask if we could come back the next day and do I drink wine? I said yes lol, so he said when you come tomorrow I will have a free bottle of wine for you. He kept his promise and the service and food was amazing again. All of the shows were outstanding. Me and my daughter really enjoyed sitting back and watching some of the live jazz performances. For our excursion we did the train ride in St. Kitts. It really wasn’t worth the money. We learned more and saw everything on the way there. The train really doesn’t show you much. I finally decided to treat myself to a full body massage on the ship. It was so worth it! So after getting the massage me and my daughter decided to get off the ship at Nassau. There was about 2 hours left before everyone had to be back onboard. So everyone was coming back to the ship and we were the only ones that wanted to enter. There was some construction going on so you have to go through this trailer to get into Nassau. Well one of the guards who worked for Nassau wouldn’t let me and my daughter in. She kept saying go around the side of the building. Well you couldn’t go around because it’s fenced off. Then Royal Caribbean security said something to her and this women continued to be nasty and rude. My daughter said dad let’s just forget it. I was very upset and wanted this issue resolved but she begged me to let it go so we went back to the ship. Fortunately we have been to the Bahamas before. Allure has so much to offer and we really did enjoy it. I definitely would sail an Oasis class ship again. For some reason I like Independence of the Seas a little better. Maybe it’s because they have Playmakers. And Playmakers has wings and pool tables lol. All in all Royal has impressed me again. They definitely have me and my family slowly forgetting about Carnival lol.

Nice review. I think Indy and Allure are my two favorite ships as well. Harmony a close third.
