Review summary

I was concerned about the crowds on an Oasis class of ship, and was surprised it never felt crowded. Loved this ship and would sail any of the Oasis class ships. The eastren caribbean is truly a lovely place. We had great Ports of call, Just didn't completely enjoy our excursions.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
We were on the ship in record time. Just very little direction when checking in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We prefer to eat when and what we want so never did MDR or specialty resturants, Buffet Food was good, lacking in selection compared to smaller ships I have been on. Sorrentos Pizza excellent as always.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment is truly outstanding, I really enjoyed Ocenaria in the aqua theater, the Ice Show, and Mama Mia.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward was outstanding, most of the rest of the staff we had encounters with did a great job.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

This was an aqua theater suite, was nice, the only draw back is this suite did not have the true balconey area of the other suites.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

All we did here was visit Bayside Market before our cruise very busy.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Took the Double Decker Bus excursion, some good information given about the island and different sights. Mainley geared to taking you to specefic locations to try and sell the local stuff.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
Took an excursion of the Fortresses, was good information provided but I would reccomend just walln off the ships to the fortresses.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
We did the Dragon Breath Zip Line it was fantastic, rest of the day was spent on barefoot beach.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
This was by far my best experience from ship to car in about 15 minutes.

You’re missing a lot by not going to MDR. Food is delicious compared to buffet. We’re completely opposite. We try to avoid the buffet and even go to MDR for breakfast.
