Overall I would definitely recommend this cruise to a friend. The ship was amazing and the entertainment was really good. I really only had one port that was a bust and the rest were tons of fun and great adventures. I think that having a nice cabin with a balcony also made a huge difference as it didn’t feel like I was sleeping in a sardine can. Great job Royal Caribbean!
Embarkation

Since this was our first cruise with Royal Caribbean all went pretty smooth except for dropping off our bags. It was a little confusing and hectic but after that all was great.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main didn’t room meals were always delicious and if their was something not too tasty they immediately brought something else. I thought the main buffet food got a little boring after about the third day which is the reason for four instead of five stars. We didn’t try any of the specialty dining restaurants.

Pizza anytime of the day. Yes please! And good pizza as well- especially the Caribbean which had barbecue sauce and chicken
Onboard Activities

The Flowrider was great fun. We actually didn’t have to wait very long but it was a little windy when we went so not too many were in line. My only complaint was that the rock walls seemed to never be open. Extended hours for these would have been appreciated.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The Oceanaria and Monopoly on Ice shows were absolutely incredible! We watched the water show twice and I could have seen it a third time. Mama Mia was average. Blue Planet could have been amazing (the effects were awesome) but the songs they sang did not show off the singers’ talents. With different song selection, this show would have been amazing.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff

Staff was super friendly. A little hard to understand at times since English was a second language but very friendly. I didn’t feel like our room steward did a great job at cleaning our room which is why I gave four stars.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was very spacious for a cruise ship and was very nice. The balcony let us see down onto the entertainment deck as well as the back of the shop where the Aqua Theater shows happened. The only outlets were at the desk and none by the bed, but we managed just fine.
We got off the ship and asked a taxi driver where he recommended. He drove us to Nirvana Beach. The day was overcast and a little cold so that didn’t help. The beach was ok, but nothing like a typical Caribbean beach. Water was cold and the snorkeling was dismal at best. They had a small cafe but after waiting 45 minutes for a chicken salad with employees who were not happy doing their jobs, we decided to just wait until getting back on the ship. If I could do it over I would go to Atlantis.
We booked a private boat for snorkeling with our group of seven and had an amazing experience. The reef was absolutely stunning. We are homemade guacamole and pico and had a wonderful time.
I didn’t think we could do better snorkeling than Cozumel but Roatan was the very best! The reef was closer to the surface and just incredible. We also did the Superman zip line in the morning but I would not recommend this. It was $35 and only two lines, so we were done in about 15 minutes. Not worth the money.
We went to the Chaccoben Ruins. It was a long drive there and even though the history was interesting, when we got there all you could do was see the outside of the buildings. The inside was sealed off and I really think we could have seen the whole thing in about 25 minutes. Our guide had us there a couple of hours. We then went to the Seven Colors Lake which was gorgeous and super warm to swim in and have fun.
