Review summary

Beautiful Ship. Great staff and very clean. Large, too many people for us and not enough room at pools. Overall, a great time, just a bit bored on sea days.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room food was mostly good but not always consistent. Ranged from about a 6-8 for flavour and creativity.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Many activities, but most for kids. Pools too crowded. Shows in evening were great but many started very late. Bar parties and dancing started way too late at about 11pm so didn't attend.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent, amazing Shows! Mama Mia, Las Vegas Tenors (headliners), comedians were hilarious! Hilarious game shows for adults.

Service and Staff

Best staff I have ever experienced anywhere. Everyone genuinely says hello, has daily conversations, greets you by name. You can ask anyone for help.

Ship Quality

Cleanest place I have ever seen! Not a spec untouched daily. We had a boardwalk balcony and watched early some mornings how thorough their cleaning regimen was. Great attention to hand washing entering food areas. Only part we didn't like was that you had to leave each food area to find bathrooms in the hallways...none in bars or restaurants. These bathrooms were also immaculate.

Cabin / Stateroom

Good size, lots of storage space. Always immaculately clean!!

Ship tip

Very large ship, too many people for us. We would have preferred a smaller ship with more ports. No room at pools ever especially if you are in groups of more that 4 people...No seating.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Clean city, we stayed at the Red Roof Inn Plus at the airport. Clean enough, free basic breakfast, pool. No excursions. We did use the tri-rail to get from FLL airport to MIA airport, easy and cheap. Only $6 pp and we had all of our luggage.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

We love St. Smarten and have been there many times previous. Very expensive. Places to visit....Mayo Beach to see planes come in, Orient Beach (nude), Yacht Club rat the lift bridge--restaurant for good food and drinks and to see all the fancy yachts.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Loved this place. Wish we had more time. Still in a bit of a sad state, with some homeless people laying on the sidewalks. Felt safe, people were friendly, city was very clean. Would love to go back here for a stay.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Had a blast on the zip line! Staff running this are great!! Nice beach. Food and drinks were okay. Watch our at the big local market as there are so many vendors that they practically jump at you.....much like Dominican but even more concentrated. They will bargain, but we just paid the first price as we felt they could use the help with everythjng going on with the current political instability.

Disembarkation

Complete chaos!!! Too many people, too many cars. Had great difficulty finding our Lyft driver as almost all cars were the same model and colour. Once we found our second request, driver, service and price were great. To avoid all of the chaos, might be best to pay the extra and book an exact time with the ship shuttles. Only about 20-30% more in price.
