Allure of the Seas

7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)

Sail date: February 24, 2019

Ship: Allure of the Seas

Cabin type: Suite

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

A fantastic ship with endless possibilities. It never felt crowded on board because everything was managed so well. In the ports however, you could feel the difference between a 2000 and 5400 passenger ship.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Everything we tried was very good. We were impressed with the quality of food and the selection in the windjammer.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was a lot to choose from but we were just lazy.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved Mamma Mia and the Aquatic show

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
In some areas of the ship the staff could have done with a few more smiles.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very well laid out and perfectly maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great size, well designed, lots of storage space and a wonderful balcony with table, chairs and two lounge chairs.

Ship tip

a week is not enough

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

3 out of 5
it is too overrun

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
always a pleasure to stroll through the old town

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

3 out of 5
Too many people for such a small place! Due to the rocks in the water swimming is restricted and we found "standing room" only in the water. We would like to be able to go out and tour Haiti.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
fastest ever
