We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on the Allure of the Seas and would happily take another cruise on this entertaining, well maintained ship! The Staff and Crew are a delight! Thank you all!

Embarkation

Royal Caribbean Staff were welcoming and organized. Embarkation went smoothly and we walked onto the ship quickly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate in the main dining room one night and the food was good. Our dining experience mainly comprised the Coastal Kitchen for all three meals and the specialty restaurants which were delicious.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We used the track and the pools.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were phenomenal! Royal Caribbean's entertainment is outstanding compared to other cruise lines. The aqua, ice skating, and Mama Mia shows were exceptional! The other venues (comedy and such) were wonderful and very entertaining too.

Children's Programs

We didn't travel with children. The ship offers a wide variety of entertainment to engage children of all ages.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Always greeted with a smile from the friendly, caring and helpful Staff and Crew! Our Cabin Steward Henry was exceptional as was the entire Staff on Deck 17. A shout out to Dexter and Junior our Concierges! Twiford and others in the Lounge - awesome Staff all around! We were treated "royally!" Captain Ron is fabulous along with his Senior Officers, and Cruise Director too! The NEXT Cruise Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. We booked with Bridgette and Lesley (I think that was her name)! They were wonderful! Thank you all.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This was our first time on the Allure and the ship is extremely well maintained. It's a huge ship but it is easy to find your way around. Once aboard, you're not bumping into people (as you may think). We enjoyed it so much; we booked another cruise on the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This is a wonderful and spacious cabin with great views! It was clean and comfortable with plenty of storage and two bathrooms. The balcony facing Aft, in addition to the gorgeous ocean, had views of mini golf, zip line, Flow riders, one of the large screens from the Aqua Show level, and basketball court.

Ship tip

Get aboard early to enjoy all the ship has to offer!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

We embarked in Miami. We love this vibrant city!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

The French side is still recovering from hurricane damage, and the Dutch side is in better shape. This was our first visit to the island; we took the island bus tour excursion which we recommend. Our driver was terrific and funny.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
We've visited San Juan over the years. Our stay wasn't long, but we had plenty of time to stroll to shops in Old San Juan and have a bite to eat at the Chocolate shop (which was delicious)!

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
This was our first visit to Labadee; we had a festive arrival with music and dancers. The weather was perfect and we went to the Barefoot Beach Club there. Joe was there to greet and help us. He brought us our floats for the water, umbrella, and all. Thank you Joe!

Disembarkation
