Review summary

This was a great Christmas week cruise. The ship was beautifully decorated and there was so much for all of us to do. The food was great and the staff was so friendly. It was a wonderful feeling looking into the eyes of the children as they looked up to Santa coming by zip line. The music was awesome with great variety but my favorite show was Mama Mia. The Allure was a town with loads of fun things to do on the water.

My mother was with us and in a wheel chair. It was so easy getting on to the ship!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The Allure's main dining room was very nice and the food variety was good. We went to two speciality restaurants and my favorite was Sabor. They had great chips. The buffets were pleasant and had great choices of salads and soups. We really loved the Solarium Bistro which was quiet and beautiful.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There were just too many to choose from. The pools were nice but we especially like the pool fitness class. It was so fun and the leader was awesome. We enjoyed Bingo but it was a little expensive. The spa and fitness center were really nice and the staff members were very helpful. The only problem I had was that I never could get a pool chair because they were all saved even when the announcements were made not to save.

Entertainment

WOW! Mama Mia was a really wonderful show. We also loved the pool music, the hilarious comedian and the water show. The Jazz club was fun for us while our teenagers loved the outside DJ in the solarium.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The stewards were so kind and friendly with great hints. Waiters were nice and helpful but some seemed to rush us at our late seating. We went earlier the next nights and we didn't have to feel rushed.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was beautiful and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was a nice cabin. I would like the bed to be more comfortable but there was so much to do we couldn't really complain- we were hardly ever there! The balcony was nice over the park.

Ship tip

Don't try to do everything. Go on another cruise later!

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

The port was great we did not do an excursion... it was beautiful. Next time I would love to do something close by.

Nassau, Bahamas

It was a pretty place to go and the shops were fun.

Cozumel, Mexico

We did the buggy and snorkel. Our guide Luis was great and the other side of the island had the most beautiful water that I have ever seen. Lunch was good too!

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

4 out of 5
We rented a car and had someone drive us (Miraen) and traveled throughout the island. It was a very beautiful island.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

The boys loved the pool bar in the port area.

Disembarkation

Very easy even with the number in our group and one in a wheel chair. The outside area was a little crowded and hard to get around. The assistants with the wheelchair were great.
