Review summary

I say the disembarkation was terrible as it took us 2 hours to get through Customs (we are non-US residents). Not entirely Royal's fault, I know. But no-one was helpful, it was incredibly disorganized and just plain awful. My friend was suffering from a migraine and she thought she was going to pass out. A lot of pushy people in the queue. We will try to avoid Fort Lauderdale in future.

Embarkation

Very easy. We arrived at the Port just before 11am and were on-board and at the pool bar at 11.15am

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Couldn't fault the food in the specialty restaurants, or at windjammer. We didn't eat in the main dining room. Service in the restaurants was first class.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty to do on such a big ship. Impossible to get bored. It was a lot of fun! Trivia, watching the flow rider, shows in aqua theater. Lots happening!

Service and Staff

We didn't have bad service anywhere on the ship. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

Very clean ship, layout was easy to navigate. Plenty of touch screens around if you are trying to find something.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

150 Central Park was absolutely outstanding, we went there twice. Highly recommend it!

Cozumel, Mexico

We did Cozumel Bar Hop booked directly through their website. The tour was fantastic and I would do it again.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We caught a taxi to West End Village. Not as many shops there as I was expecting but there were plenty of bars and restaurants. Less tourists than the beach area at West Bay.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
I wouldn't bother getting off the boat again if we went to Costa Maya, unless I did a tour to the ruins. We got a cab to Jaime's At Blue Reef (pre-booked months earlier). It was fine but nothing to write home about.
