Review summary

Overall we had an amazing week on the Allure. The buffet was always really good and we enjoyed the shows immensely. Our cabin was outstanding and we had a terrific family holiday.

We never ate in the main dining room because the only time we could reserve was 9 pm and we were traveling with children, but the Windjammers buffet was excellent and the specialty restaurants were terrific.

We signed the waivers for the kid's club and dropped them off the first night of the cruise. There was a sign that said 9-11 year olds could check themselves in and out. Unfortunately, the workers did not allow my kids to check themselves out, which caused them to be very upset. We finally "rescued" them from the kids club at 10:30 PM- they were crying and exhausted. We thought they hadn't come back because they were having a great time. The workers refused to let my kids call the room to let us know that the sign was wrong and we needed to come get them. Needless to say, we couldn't get the kids to go back to the kids club the entire cruise. That being said, my kids loved the Play, the musical entertainment, the cupcake decorating class, and the family-friendly comedy show was terrific.

Loved the cabin - it was awesome! Our room attendant Bruce made it look so perfect twice a day. He even left towels shaped like animals for us. We absolutely loved our room.
