Review summary

This cruise is great for families. There are always activities to do. We found the kids enjoyed their kids camp and had lots of fun. The nursery however, does not have much for the little ones to do and hope they improve this a bit. At times shows were scheduled really late in the night like 10:30 PM. Not a great time for families and would be great if they can modify this in the future.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was fast and smooth.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Buffets were great with lots of selection. We tried Chops which was the best steak I ever had. Definitely recommend to others looking for a fine dining experience.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Tried the pools and also the carousel was a great item for the kids, they truly enjoyed it.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Shows were overall great. The comedian was excellent. Although we did not watch Mamma Mia since we saw it before on another of Royal Caribbean's ships. They should have newer shows rather than show the same old ones again.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
My kids liked the kids club. There should be a no charge option added for children that are 2-3 years old.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff tried their best to go above and beyond. They really work hard to make sure you have a great experience.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was very clean and kept in good shape.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Room was a good size and was a good fit for 2 adults and 2 kids. Would recommend this type of cabin with Boardwalk view for camilies.

Ports of call

Not a great stop, public beaches in bad shape.

San Juan, Puerto Rico Did not visit port

Labadee, due to hurricane Maria

Philipsburg, St. Maarten Did not visit port

Falmouth Jamaica due to hurricane Maria

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Was not too slow and not fast enough. There are no carts available for luggage, you are forced to pay a porter to bring your bags to the outside of the terminal past customs staff.
