Met my expectations regarding the marvel of engineering and size. Beautiful vessel, full of wonderful things, great decoration.
It is a petty that the crew and the service does not match the beauty of the ship.
Embarkation

Very fast and efficient since were hundreds of people.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
More than once, the coffee was cold and with coffee grounds floating on it.
During breakfast, more than once the potatoes were hard, impossible to eat.
The meat was of poor quality.
Onboard Activities

The pools were too small, always very crowded, impossible to swim a lap. I think for the amount of people that you take you need bigger pools. The rock-climbing was Ok, ant the zip line too.
Entertainment

Impossible. Reservation for this and the other. Ridiculous.Trivia, very disorganized, the moderator never reinforced the rule of teams no more than 6, some time were 8 or more. Where is the fairness? One day, at Trivia, the moderator from the Netherlands, specifically from Rotterdam, a tall blond blue eyes young woman, made the comment that she did not like Germans. How she dare to say that when you have so many nationalities aboard, very unprofessional and lacking professionalism, By the way, my husband is German.
Service and Staff

All the people at the customer desk, were uncaring, cold, impolite. Never smile or really care about your situation. When I called from my state room, they NEVER EVER answer the phone, not matter a what time I called.
Maybe I am spoiled in the way that the personal of Holland America had treated me in my many cruises with them, or maybe you should train better your personal.

My god! what a marvelous piece of technology and engineering is the Allure of the seas.
It is a wonderful vessel.
And yes indeed, very clean, beautiful decorated, very classy.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very small, but very clean. Our room attendant was wonderful, very nice, polite, caring, attentive, proactive, a real professional.
Ship tip
Train your personal in how to treat people, make them aware, that, without paying customers they will not have anymore a job.
I booked the trip for curiosity to see how was to be in a vessel like that, but I will never, again, cruise with you. You lack humanity, empathy and customer service skills.
Why did you stop there? The town outside the port facilities was very unappealing, dirty, rundown, looked dangerous. As soon I step outside the port area, I walked less than a mile into the town, and almost running went back to the ship.
Magnificent, Beautiful, cleaning, friendly and polite people.
With the Maya sites so close to visit makes it perfect place.
I would like to spend more time there.
