Review summary
Athough the Allure of the Seas has 6000 plus passengers, we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise.
There are many restaurants that require an additional fee. The Windjammer is a buffet style restaurant open to all as part of the cruise package. Informal dining anytime at the Windjammer. Food was well above average. You will not go hungary.
if you want to drink, I recommend you buy the package at a discounted price prior to the cruise. Drinks are around $10; beer is $8. There is a tip fee additional for every drink.
The nightly entertainment was very good. Staff was extremely accommodating.
Excursions are provided by Royal Caribbean and third parties. The ports we stopped at were Nassau, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten. We enjoyed St. Maarten the most. The kayak-snorkel excursion was third party and it was superb.
you can party all night if you like.
Easy on, easy off.
Take a cab to and from the ship. It is cheaper and quicker.
Most of all we had fun in the sun.
