Review summary

I would recommend this cruise to others. The ports and excursions and onboard activities were the highlights. There is room for improvement. Had several service issues, poor AC in balcony room, ship lost our bags til end of 1st day, fridge wasn't cool, room decorations were missing and delivery of room gifts out of order. had lots of issues, bad info, broken promises, poor follow through and I don't recommend to anyone using them. Both cruises had numerous issues, headaches, problems, unhelpful people and not worth the trouble. Loved the cruise overall.

AC issues, not as cool as it expected. Room cooler/fridge had to be replaced and shower drain main sounds all the time but has a great view! Very comfortable bed, no complimentary robes to wear like on carnival ships but clean rooms and bathroom always and nice balcony and furniture and tv!

You will have an amazing time. The ship and the atomoshpere are breathe taking. I just felt that the crew is overworked and exhausted.

I just got off yesterday.. and for the record I had an amazing time! Just a few things that need to be worked on is all! Don't dwell on the negative and the reviews! Make it your vacation and do whatever you please and I promise you will have an amazing time too!

I'm glad we weren't the only ones with poor ac in our room! We asked our steward about it and that night it seemed cooler but the other nights it was still so hot! It would have been cooler with the door open! And yeah we didn't have the greatest service either. We felt like we were always last served. One night when we went to chops the waiter told is he was going to take care of the other couple first because they were regulars.. however we were sitting around waiting to order for about 20 mins. I don't blame him though. He seemed over worked. But there was never really a smile on anyone's face. I feel bad for the staff. They need a little more help!

Yes. I get it. On this ship we also had the feeling of a disconnection between guests and staff. At one time it truely felt like you were in good hands with anticipation of any poor situation smoothed out with the feeling of your vacation being their top priority. Things have totally changed. They have now trained the crew/ staff with the financial overview and how to do 5 things at once with less regaurd to customer service. Most all of us can recall rude behavior and disregaurd for customer service in the windjammer. The specialty resturaunts with poor wait staff. Certainly a 'get em in, get em out in the main dining room. Less smiles. The crew often keeping to just the essentials and less of a friendly vacation. All in my own opinion of course. But after 25 years of RC cruising...the change is apparent.
