Never had this much fun on a Navy ship!

Sail Date: March 06, 2016

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Overall, we had a memorable experience.  A must see is Mama Mia!, Oceanaira and Blue Planet shows.  Every minute of the day there is something for you to do.  The food was excellent and the service was exceptional.  The crew of the Allure go out of their way to make your cruise comfortable and enjoyable.  For the Salseros, they have a live band in Boleros that played well past midnight.  I highly recommend this cruise to anyone thinking of taking their family or if you're just a couple.

Cabin / Stateroom
Although we had to request that the couch in our cabin be shampooed, overall there was enough room and it was comfortable. Our stateroom attendant, Bronko, was on top of every little thing.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Royal Caribbean has this process down to a science. Also, customs was painless.
Ship Quality
Very clean ship. You will see crew members cleaning all day long, all over the ship.
Destinations and Excursions
Too much emphasis is put on shopping at the destinations. Other than that, the ports were very good. Save room for the barbeque in Labadee. Took an excursion in Cozumel to the Playa Mia Resort. This included a buffet at the resort; the juices were watery.
Onboard Activities
Something for every age group. You will not get bored.
Children's Programs
According to my wife, Mama Mia! was better than the screen version.
Service and Staff
Steve, Maria and Lester in Bolero were the best. And let me not forget Amir in the Sky Bar.
Food and Dining
Menu changes daily and the quality of food was excellent. Good Mexican food in Sabor.
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Dave & Buster's close by.
Labadee (Cruiseline Private Island)
Good barbeque provided by the ship.
Falmouth, Jamaica
If venturing out, make sure to negotiate a price for the cabs.
Cozumel, Mexico
Recommend the Playa Mia Resort; good beach and plenty for the kids to do.

Promenade Café has good coffee for those early risers. In the main dining room (American Icon), try to get Table #126. The waiter is the best!
