Review summary

We are a small group of women who cruise together every year for the last nine years.  The Allure is a beautiful ship and the entertainment is fantastic.  However we felt that there was little effort given to the daily events and there were virtually no night parties.  The concept of everything on your own and at whateertime you want leaves little room for social events.

We also felt that we were being nickel and dime for a lot of things.  There were extra fees for a lot of things even some recreational events.  How cheap can you be to even take away the two little chocolates on your bed at night!!

Oh and the mattresses were in need of an upgrade.  All four beds in both our rooms had caved in mattresses.

Staff is wonderful as always.

If you don't like crowds 6,000 passengers is a bit much

We loved all the ship had to offer(Oasis) there are alot of people but that is a known fact before you book. With that many people, there will be lines sometimes. We loved the food, thought it was great. We didn't buy into the dining that was extra. The only thing we didn't like as much as the smaller ships, was that there was not much to see at the pool All the activities we done in the Aqua theater. If you leave your pool chair to go watch the belly flop contest you don't get it back. That being said, there is ALOT of other things the smaller ships don't have. We sail on the The Allure April 17th. Can't wait!

No problem. I guess it just depends on what your expectations are and what you like but I just don't know how anyone could be disappointed with all that's on these ships and the fact that you are on vacation.

Thanks ryan. ☺

Our first cruise was on brilliance about a year and a half ago. There was plenty of events and social gatherings and it's a smaller ship. If you just relax and enjoy what's around you then you will have an amazing time.

These are my top 3 tips: 1. Book all shows in advance 2. Learn a bit about what is included and what isn't then stay clear of extra things unless wanted 3. Just enjoy yourself!!

This worries me...what was the best cruise line you have been on...I think this is the worse review I have read. And this is our first cruise. We're really excited. And one of our concerns was the room. And we were looking forward to a a few parties at night. But I hoping u can shed a little more light on your experience. I'm sorry to hear you had a terrible expirence. What cruise line would you recommend as an alternative to allure of the seas.
