Review summary

Superior cruise vessel. Immaculately clean. (Advocates of maintaining healthy environment by promoting international standard for clean hands throughout the vessel.) Excellent entertainment with multiple venue choices. Something for everyone! Very impressed with ship's design that enables passengers to freely move from place to place without "bottlenecks" you might have experienced on other ships. (Occasional short wait for elevator after some of the larger shows let out but quality of shows offset any inconvenience.) Mama Mia show is a must see! Observed several "electric scooters" easily maneuvering around. Fun, fun, fun place for kids. Large kiddie pool area targeted to entertain kids and allow adults to maintain unobstructed views of little ones at all times. The Boardwalk has a carousel and multiple kid/young adult food options. There's rock climbing, ice skating, ice shows, wave-riding, and evening family-friendly movies under the stars. Food experience accommodated all palette levels of "taste maturity". We purchased two Drinks of the Day and found them to be full of sugary fruit juice and undetected alcohol - glasses had fun designs but nothing uniquely special. AnyTime dining room servers "Tianna, LaToya, and SherriAnne" made us feel welcome and special (like we were very important, long-lost-loved family!). We had the opportunity to sit in other sections but, sorry guy waiters, were simply served. No friendly smiles and conversation. The men wait staff got the job done but the ladies mentioned above got the job done with first class service, friendly and caring (yet still professional) attitudes, and efficiency as if they were gliding across the floor. It was worth the wait to be seated in Tianna's section. The Tequilla Taqueria food was delicious - cudos to the chef and friendly waiter. (Yes, the male wait staff on the ship as a whole was very friendly and welcoming - just not the male wait staff we encountered with AnyTime Dining - excluding the hosts, maitre de, wine stewards, etc,  who were all wonderful.) Visiting ports in Haiti, Jamaica, and Mexico with the typical shore excursions and gift shopping is nice but the star of this particular show (especially for frequent cruisers) is the "Allure of the Seas".

Entertainment

Loved Mama Mia! The comedy act and the impressionist should switch billing. The impressionist's act did not maintain my interest. I could have viewed his transformations on the TV in our room. Seeing pictures of what an on-board cruise entertainer/artist has done is very different from experiencing what they can do in front of your eyes. Plus the female and male comedians rocked!!! Everybody on the floor with tears from laughing and everybody on their feet for a standing ovation. We would pay to see them. The water acrobatic show was great. Great respect for the talent above and below the water. Spectacular talent!
