Park Cafe was opened (found out that later) not sure about Solarium. The pizza place and small deli was opened on promenade too. We assumed that the Windjammer on this ship was like others on RC---roomy, good food, and service but we were wrong. Next day we went up to checkout breakfast. We stepped off the elevator and saw long lines just to get in. DR has good breakfast a la cart or buffet. Last week there was 6300 passenger on the ship.

Was solarium and park cafe open on day 1 for lunch?

the windjammer was fine......there are 5000+ people on the boat. At times, crowds should be expected. There was a good variety.

Also good place to eat was the Solarium and Central Park Cafe..... for breakfast and lunch. Food was better there and no lines :))

Just got off the Allure. Beautiful ship, great entertainment and shows. AVOID the Windjammer. ...terrible food (had it on first day for lunch and never went back) no room to walk, no service, etc. The food in dinning room was just barely eatable. ....very disappointed. Service wasn't that good either. We had good service in DR for breakfast and lunch but had no luck at dinner.
